The British group Snakecharmer is a true super group consisting of former members from groups such as Whitesnake, Wishbone Ash and Ozzy Osbourne. The group excels in melodic hard rock and the group has so far recorded two albums of which the last one Second Skin is really good.
It is really great when a new group emerges (formed in 2011) and takes up the melodic hard rock torch. New groups in that genre are few and in between these days, but with Snakecharmer there is still hope.
