Many of the groups and solo artists that I like the most all have a blues approach to their music. The blues artists that I listen to are mostly from the old days such as Muddy Waters, the three Kings (BB, Albert and Freddie), Elmore James, Jimmy Reed to name but a few. But also, the British blues groups have a big place in my musical heart. For instance, Chicken Shack, Fleetwood Mac (Peter Green’s), John Mayall, Savoy Brown, Eric Clapton, Yardbirds etc.
Fortunately, the blues is nowhere dead, and I intend to review seasoned and new electrifying blues names.
