Frank Ballard: Country isn’t just Country!

Frank Ballard plays melodic and energetic country music with strong twists of pop and rock. You can clearly sense the energy in his voice when he sings. I like him.

Country star Frank Ballard originally comes from Michigan and was born in 1982. Han began playing the guitar when he was 18 years old, but I have to say that since then he has learned to master the instrument. Frank’s breakthrough came when he won Kenny Chesney’s talent program Next Big Star in Michigan in 2008.

Afterwards he landed a recording contract and shortly afterwards he moved to Nashville and the rest is history so to speak. Frank Ballard has released two albums and he has had an impressive 8 singles in the country charts. Live he has been a supporting act for super stars like Taylor Swift, Bob Seger and Kenny Chesney.

I like Frank Ballard’s music primarily because it is characterized by strong melodies, and it is often quite rhythmic. Nowadays strong melodies are hard to come by, but Frank is the man to go to if you request that. Besides, you can clearly sense the high energy that he puts in his music which more than often is also pop and rock than just country which is what his music is labeled as.

I hope you like Frank Ballard’s music. I know I do.

I have attached a couple of videos below where you can hear and see what I mean. Happy listening.
