Paul Thorn is a very versatile musician and thus hard to categorize. He has a personal and deep voice, and he plays very convincingly the different types of music that I love the most. And perhaps most importantly he is an excellent songwriter and musician.
Paul Thorn hails from Mississippi in the deep south and he has been active on the music scene since 1997. He has over the years gained a sizeable loyal following and has had the honor of being the opening act for amongst others Huey Lewis and the News, John Prine, Mark Knopfler, Bonnie Raitt and Toby Keith. The scope of those artists shows how musically diverse Paul Thorn is.
I am sorry to admit it but it wasn’t until recently that I heard Paul Thorn for the first time but better late than never. To catch up I have put in a couple of numbers which characterize Paul Thorn. If you don’t know Paul Thorn this is your chance now.
