Robert John’s biggest hit “Sad Eyes” reached #1 in the US in 1979 for which he was also awarded a gold record. Moreover, Robert John received a Grammy nomination for best male pop vocal. Unfortunately, we haven’t heard much from falsetto singing Robert John since then. But listen to Sad Eyes. A terrific pop song.
